Sir,

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt

of your despatch of the 25th Ultimo covering Correspondence between yourself and the Prince of Kung relative to Emigration under Contract to British Colonies as well as to other places.

2. Sperative that Your Excellency has expressed yourself in very marked terms of condemnation generally of any Emigration under Contract.

To His Excellency

Sir Rutherford Alcock, K. C.B.

H. B. M's : Minister Plenipotentiary.

Peking.

I made the following changes: 1. Corrected spelling errors (e.g., "Colonisel" to "Colonial", "despatch" kept as original, "Sperative" likely should be "Satisfactory" but kept as original due to rule 7, "mortied" to "marked"). 2. Fixed spacing issues and removed extra spaces. 3. Rejoined broken sentences where necessary. 4. Restored paragraph breaks to format the text into proper paragraphs. 5. Removed non-ASCII characters that were not part of the original text (e.g., "کوئی کر کے مسل کیے ہیں۔"). 6. Ensured file references are formatted correctly (though none were present in this snippet). 7. Preserved "Page XX" format, but it was not present in this snippet. 8. Output in HTML using `

` for paragraphs.
